Making an impreza more suitable for Off Road?
 

I'm in the process of trying to sell my turbo wagon since I need something with higher ground clearance for farm tracks and field when I go shooting but then I was thinking how easy/cheaply can you make the standard impreza more suitable for off road. Is it just a case of Diff/Engine guard and rally tires or can you lift them slightly for better ground clearance Ect..

Never had an issue on our farm really, Wagon sport copes fine but i wouldn't take my impreza turbo up them!

Do you have skirts/splitter on it? I guess they would first to go, sump guard and standard profile tyres?

It is completely standard except the Prodrive Bilstein Suspension which may make it a bit lower?

Previous idiot owner lowered it by 4cm so had to fit the other suspension just to bring it up to sensible road height.

Just standard suspension. Did you not see the recent Top Gear special. If the farm tracks and fields are worse conditions than those tracks then you need a land rover. Not a farmers rally car! :)

We all know Forester drivers are the coolest and best Subaru drivers though. :D
