Not Max Clifford !!
Always struck me as a really nice chap - hated Tories to boot. :lol1:

Fcuking tragedy that these people are dragged into crap like this so late in life and so long after the initial crime was supposed to have happened. |
But.........what has he done?
|
Probably boned some hippy chicks 47 yrs ago, just like half the population of europe, now he's made good and worth a few quid they want compo because they were 14/15/16 and pretending to be 20, just like everyone on the planet has done to get into a club or pub.
I'm sure they knew exactly what they were doing at the time, but the chance of a few quid to tide them over in later life means they are devoid of any morality with regards to how they get it. As usual it's all about the money, and what a waste of taxpayers money. |
Unfortunately, I've been subject to something similar.
Police have received a complaint from a Mrs. Jeffery referring to a "kitchen incident" three weeks ago. I have no comment to make other than I reasonably thought she was fair game considering both of her hands were full at the time.. |
Sounds like this woman -
I love this well-travelled high earner. A woman in the living room, a chef in the kitchen, a prostitute in the bedroom. She's just got the rooms mixed up. |

He will never live it down even if found to be completely innocent. Les :( |

He will never live it down even if found to be completely innocent. Les :( All done for altruistic reasons without the consideration of financial gain or even so base a concept as spite towards his perceived enemies? He always struck me as a bit of a "holier than thou" type. Am I alone in my feelings on this one? Hoisted and petard are two words that come to my (admittedly small) mind. Thank God Tiger Woods wasn't born 40 years earlier:lol1: |
Can't think why you think I was referring to all those matters you mentioined.
Try reading what I wrote again! Les |
Couldn't happen to a nicer chap
If nothing else he'll be stripped of a few hundred grand...result :thumb: |

Try reading what I wrote again! Les Feel free to ignore them if you wish. I guess the point I'm making is that he has been happy to smear the reputations of others with innuendo etcetera and I for one am not particularly sympathetic to his current plight. |

I would think this carry on will snowball and affect many many more famous folk in the future Mick |
Don't understand why he mentioned that he was in the same boat as Freddie Starr, DLT, Jim Davidson etc. in his statement. If any of them is found guilty then he will find it very difficult to prove his innocence.
|
TBH he gives "our" industry a bad name. Don't like him one bit. The allegations seem a bit daft though.

Year 1965, place Max Clifford's office
Present: Freddie Starr, Rolf Harris, Dave Lee Travis, Gary Glitter, Jim Davidson, Max Clifford & Stuart Hall Dear Mr. Saville Please could you fix it for me & my friends to visit a maximum security prison |
I was 16 she was 15. It was her who wanted to play stink finger. I await the knock on the door by "Saville police". :lol1:
Funny thing is it seems like all the "un-shagables" are getting busted like Clifford,Freddie, bloody Rolf Harris :lol1: Where's all the rock stars? And i don't want to appear un-sympathic but looking at the state of some of these accusers i can't help but feel they should be grateful some poor sap wanted to shag them. Seriously though, i doubt any conviction will happen, not unless one of the woman did a Monica Lewinski and preserved a spunk stained dress. I think this is just a case of the police needing to be seen as taking complained seriously. |

Pity there isn't the option of the Scottish Lay verdict of "Not Proven" which, if I understand it correctly, means that it's blindingly obvious that someone is guilty but it can't be proved in court.
dl |
It seems to me that the police were so inept on acting againgst Saville despite several complaints that they now are over re-acting to any whiff of inuendo. :)
|
Or they now have "a missing link" or "cabal" of previously untouchables.
