hawkeye keyfob
 

hi all, i've just bought 06 hawkeye and spare keyfob doesnt open doors but starts engine
i've put new battery in and tried resetting fob by putting key in ign and clicking fob ala vauxhall but i get a red key symbol on dash ?
car sales did say they wud sort it if battery didnt cure fault, does it just need resetting with software from mobile diagnosis guy or is it dealer job ?
im gonna take it back to car sales but just want a heads up advice !!

I think you can re-set yourself, using a sequence on the small alarm keypad.
Give 'rob84' a shout, sure he'll advise.

You will need your 4 digit code though, it's not all lost as long as you have one working key fob as you can reprogram a new code..

hi, is the 4 digit code on pass card in owners binder pack/booklet or numbers on sticker on back of key ??

I had to reprogram mine as I didn't hav the code, can you unlock the door with the other key fob?

yeah other key works fine no probs-so im guessing i dont need new code,just to reset the 'dead' key with new battery in it ??
