Where did you get that forge FMIC?
|
Looks very nice, and in my opinion would look even better with the standard front and rear Sti lights. Steve.
|
Forge fmic was already onit when purchased.
Yer im after the sti rear lights. |
Ha, those are poor greetings for a new guy! Welcome to SNet mate, that's a great looking car and congratulations on running it aged 23. Best colour, too :)
|
Looks like a mighty quick car for a GL, just please don't crash into me or the missus :nono:
I agree with others tho, sort the lights out and its pretty tidy, on a serious note, if it is insured as a GL then be prepared for a flaming. Welcome aboard :thumb: |
Thanks buddy!
Yeh sold my 528i sport and my insurance went down by £40 a month! So its a win already! |
Insured as a turbo buddy. I think the 6 years ncb helped :)
|
I like it :)
Ditch the rear lights tho :lol1: Welcome bud :thumb: |
Unforutnatly when i purchased it. he was covered in decals still need to take afew off but it started raining.
Unforutnatly it took some paint off the drivers door and boot. soo already got to get some £££`s spent onit already. |

Good news, not many people are that honest :thumb: still must be a fair premium for a young lad, its worth it tho, been there myself and spent a fortune on insurance. |
Yeh future mods
Rear lights changed for sti rears. power fc. metal rad. and whatever other engine mods i can do for more bhp. Its supposudly running 325bhp but i never believe it until i see a dyno printout |
Yeh 1200 a year fully comp.
But iv paid worse lol at 18 i was running a 360bhp silvia. which was costing me 2.5k a year to insurance. Worth it tho as i love my cars |
Welcome aboard!
Well done getting an Impreza insured on Merseyside. Nice looking car but agree the rears are a little too aftermarket looking. Rest of the car looks very tidy from the pics it must be great fun to take out on a run. I'm not having a go at the area as I know Wirral is a nicer place than many, but make sure you have some top security on that motor and don't draw too much attention to yourself in it. I personally know of two people down that way who have had their doors booted in at 3am and had their Scoobys nicked. It can happen anywhere to anyone but do be careful. |
Yeh its got a signum cat 1 alarm luckily.
To be honest its a old peoples area around mine lol so more likely going to get moaned about the noise level if anything lol |
Welcome! I'm 23 and my turbo is costing me £500. Do like the style but oem looks would suit it!
|
I got moaned about on Facebook for being loud. I fitted a bung for early starts. Best to keep people on side, more eyes on the look out
|
Really like the car, welcome aboard, what wheels are they if you don't mind me asking?
|
Invotiv or however you spell it.

Its supposudly running 325bhp but i never believe it until i see a dyno printout Your next spend should be to spend £60 on having it dyno/det checked as with all those mods and no mention of a decent remap or aftermarket ecu (simtek etc) its more likely producing 260bhp tops. You can have it mapped using an ESL daughterboard which most mappers can prove, usually around £550 mapped. Your car looks great, just make sure it goes great too, before it goes bang. |
Yeh true buddy do want to get it on the rollers. as on boost sometimes gets fuel cut
|
Looks great mate! I'd get it looked over if I was you, better safe than sorry
|
Wttc dude. Car looks nice with the arches reminds me of my s13.
Any future plans? |
Yeh firstly fix the faults.
Slight rad leak (hoping a k-seal will sort that) Central locking not working (i think its a wire caught in door) Drivers door and boot painting (bloody decals took paint off!) And get a detail on paint as abit shabby. old owner use to wash it in shell jet washes! Then future mods. Find out what exactly its running. internal/external and also bhp. Mapped if it isnt. (wouldnt mind a power fc) Lightend flywheel. Uprated clutch if it isnt already running one. Hids headlights. Crystal smoked sidelights and indicators. Sti rear lights. And much more lol im never finished always find something i like and buy it! |
|
Welcome mate!
Your car must of been mapped if its running 440s. Whats that bottle where your AC used to be?? |
Will keep and eye on the progress :)
|
Custom fitted intercooler spray. works off a push button on dashboard.
|
Nice car, maybe see you out and about the Wirral
|
Nice. Looking forward to more pics in the future.
