is -20psi the correct vacuum reading at idle?was talking to somebody a while ago who had -10psi...surely one is wrong

Is it -20 psi or -20 inHG (inches of Mercury)?? my boost gauge reads inHg to the left of zero and psi to the right of zero.

If yours is the same then -20 inHg is correct

BTW - 1 psi is approx 2 inHg

thanx sasim,how confusing is that?vacuum scale reads in hg,while positive scale reads in psi.so at idle,vacuum should be-10psi.& not -20'psi',,duh!!

On the over run I get -11psi. Prior to rebuild it was -10psi.
Tickover at 800rpm and the vacum is a bit less.

I get -20 on the gauge, thats with a forge VA dump valve fitted.
