is -20psi the correct vacuum reading at idle?was talking to somebody a while ago who had -10psi...surely one is wrong
|
Is it -20 psi or -20 inHG (inches of Mercury)?? my boost gauge reads inHg to the left of zero and psi to the right of zero.
If yours is the same then -20 inHg is correct BTW - 1 psi is approx 2 inHg Stuart [Edited by sasim - 5/18/2002 11:23:04 PM] |
thanx sasim, how confusing is that?vacuum scale reads in hg,while positive scale reads in psi.so at idle, vacuum should be-10psi.& not -20'psi',,duh!!

On the over run I get -11psi. Prior to rebuild it was -10psi.
Tickover at 800rpm and the vacum is a bit less. |
The Man From Rangoon!
