Rear brembos behind wrx wheels?
 

Afternoon!

I have a 2005 impreza wrx. I'm looking to put bigger brakes on it, probably k sports up front and then sti brembos at the back.

To run k sports I know I'm going to need new wheels but my rear brakes need changing on so thinking of changing the rears first..... Can I fit the sti rear calliper behind my wrx wheels for the time being so I can save for wheels or will I need my new wheels first?

By putting bigger calumets on the back you will imbalance the setup and could make the back very twitchy under braking my advice would waits till you have everything and do it all at once

They aren't that much better... sure an upgrade, but nowhere near "drift-spec"....

P.S. Should fit fine. Mine are 70,000 miles old and are just due for replacement, unlike the many fronts I have binned !

Yes, the STi calipers fit behind WRX wheels, I have both on mine.
