Engine and Gearbox value?

Hi all,
I'll be looking at removing and selling the engine and DCCD gearbox from my Type-R in the next couple of months.
It's a version 4 STI (Are the piston's forged?) bottom end, the heads I will be keeping. The clock says 110k, but there is no history with the car apart from the previous owners receipts and as he is a Mercedes mechanic he never kept up any engine related "history". So for all we know a lot of this mileage was in KM.
I just wondered what these would be worth to someone, or how I should price them?.
I intend to video cold start up, and warm, and then a run through the gears.

I bought a replacement gearbox for my V4 Type R from a breaker on here and paid £600 (that included the rear diff) but I think it all depends on whether you want a quick sale or not.

Can't help with engine pricing but I would expect anyone buying it would get it rebuilt so would want it as cheap as possible.

That's just a straight 5 speed though isn't it, not DCCD. I was thinking around £400 for the bottom end and similar for the gearbox?

Thats a fair price id say. The engine isnt forged unless its been rebuilt at some point

STi Version 3~4 has HF forged pistons fitted from the factory (still has the chocolate rods though).
