Greek Yogurt vs fake Greek "Style" yogurt.

This could probably start a war about food, but i don't care about that. All i care about is all of us getting best quality food from the different generations of people. The ingredients on paper used for Greek yogurt was originally from the Greek Islands.

ScooByer Trade 20 April 2013 06:54 PM

We all got problems mate, no need to get angry.

ALi-B 20 April 2013 06:56 PM

Everything in the supermarket yoghurt section is all made by Danone anyway.

Seems like they've taken over, Bit like Haribo did with sweets.

ScooByer Trade 20 April 2013 07:04 PM

There are wars going on about this stuff too.

SiPie 20 April 2013 08:34 PM

WTF.. ?

Have I just logged in to 'Yoghurtnet'

:wonder:

mrmadcap 20 April 2013 08:56 PM

It's good for flatulence, that why the 'wimmins' always have big smiles on the adds

Ant 20 April 2013 09:11 PM

Reads like you have had one too many , you must be 'mullered'

zip106 20 April 2013 10:05 PM

If you smear it on your fanny it'll cure the thrush.

Apparently.

Turbohot 20 April 2013 11:07 PM

LOL at this thread. :lol1:

SBT, I know what you mean. Fake one tastes like sh!te. Not that I know what sh!te tastes like, but you know what I mean.

Ant's joke was certainly cultured.

Clarebabes 21 April 2013 07:41 PM

Buy the Yeo Valley ones, made in the UK and really, really lovely :) I am not a Yoghurt snob, I buy whatever's on offer usually. Luckily the Yeo ones are at the moment in Sainsburys :)

Sound advice, one mustn't dabble with Yakult.

ScooByer Trade 21 April 2013 09:25 PM

No offence Clarebabes and to anybody else here, but i don't want a yogurt or any other product where they have manipulated the ingredients to make extra money.Because it's a convenience food now, we buy it but we don't like it.And the people who make this stuff are laughing at us.If they don't care about the people they then shouldn't be making the product, simple as my friends.I know they have all followed suit/jumped on the band wagon with ingredients.Plus you can't over produce with sheeps milk because sheep don't produce that much milk ( about 1 litre each ).

See alot of people don't know the difference, between Greek yogurt and Greek "style" yogurt except price and how it sits with your taste buds.Real Greek yogurt is made with healthy live cultures from the stomachs of animals, with cream and milk of the organic variety.Nothing else in it at all.

Ant 21 April 2013 10:20 PM

You're quite passionate about greek style yoghurt aren't you?

Maybe a little too passionate , do you make love to it?

ScooByer Trade 21 April 2013 10:23 PM

No i am not that lonely dude.Did you know that you can add milk to Greek yogurt, to make more ?.You can't do that with "Greek Style yogurt".

Ant 21 April 2013 10:26 PM

Honestly let it go more important things in life than "Greek style yoghurt"

ScooByer Trade 21 April 2013 10:30 PM

Not when it's causing me digestive problems i won't Ant.

Yakult is a Greek martial art -- isnt it??

ScooByer Trade 21 April 2013 10:35 PM

Yakult is a drink to help with the digestive system. Was originally made with either unsweetened organic sheeps milk or organic cows milk with live wet cultures.

ScooByer Trade 21 April 2013 10:45 PM

I am passionate about food, because i had too much of the wrong food when i was younger Ant.
