Classic Coilovers on Newage?

Hi guys,

Ive looked everywhere but cannot seem to find a clear answer, ive been offered by a good friend of mine a set of tein coilovers from his classic that he has now sold. He has told me that they will fit my newage blob (2005 2.0GX Sport) although id have to change the rear top mounts of the coils with the topmounts of my standard shocks?

Could anyone please confirm if this is correct? The car will not be used obviously as a trackday/fast road car as it is n/a and pretty slow, so I just want it to look better and get rid the ugly wheel gap!

Is the rear top mount the only difference? Are the hub mounts the same? and are the shock body lengths the same, or near enough to the newage length that it wouldnt cause an adverse effect to the car?

Any info would be great guys!

Thanks,

Paul.
