2004 STi JDM Twin Scroll Turbo Impreza
Delta Dash dyno power reading - 396BHP / 410 ft/lbs (@ 1.8 bar boost).
Mileage 40000, but only 11000 miles on the new Cosworth engine.
MOT & tax til June 2013

The time has come for me to sell my beloved Impreza. This car has been a labour of love for me, and has had the very best of everything fitted to it to make it the ultimate blend of acceleration, braking, cornering and comfort. An ex racing driver friend of mine (who drives an R33 GTR Skyline) described it as 'a bloody weapon', and I really have to say it is the most stunningly quick car I have ever owned or driven.

I have owned it for nearly 4 years, I always warm it up and cool it down, wash and wax it every week.
Always run and mapped on 99 RON super unleaded and 50cc per tank of NF race formula octane booster.
Engine oil changed November, rear diff and gear box oils recently changed.
The car is kept garaged., and I am a non Smoker.

Being a Japanese import Twin Scroll variant this car was never available in the UK. For this reason the car has ** NO CO2 ** reading on the log book which means it is taxed on the PLG rate at £220 per year.

Standard equipment and spec over and above the UK cars include:

BBS Magnesium Alloy lightweight wheels
HID headlights
IHI VF37 Twin Scroll Turbo, (hugely quick spool-up, and doesn't run out of puff at high revs).
Equal Length tubular Manifolds (loses that nice off-beat burble, but necessary for ultimate power).
8250rpm rev limit
AVCS/VVT.
Quick Rack Steering
Electric folding mirrors

Red glow instruments with Sweep Check on start up. (like Defi BF Gauges)
Titanium STI Strut Brace
Shorter 5th and 6th gear
DCCD Gearbox
Rear Wiper
Rear Privacy Glass
Different rear Tail light configuration
Clutch start

Additional equipment that has been added:

Powerstation T25 handling kit;
AST Sport-Line 12 position adjustable Suspension Kit (No more knocking rear shocks)
Rear Adjustable Roll Bar
Anti-Lift Kit
Front Adjustable Roll Bar
4-Wheel Alignment using prodrive settings
Simtek ECU with 2 switchable maps (Mapped by Bob Rawle)
K-Sport 8 pot brakes and 330mm grooved discs front with Ferodo DS2500 pads
K-Sport 6 pot brakes and 330mm grooved discs rear with Ferodo DS2500 pads
Defi gauge pod, with black face red oil pressure, oil temp and boost pressure
Front lip spoiler
Full 3" milltek exhaust down pipe wrapped
Tomei Expreme Equal Length tubular Stainless steel Manifold
Perrin rear drop links
R&B Motorsport Air Charge Temp Gauge
7" touch screen ICE
Cat 1 alarm with 3 circuit immobilisers and 2 way responder transceiver 1000 ft range
Tracker Monitor

Forge dump valve
3 port boost valve
CDF lightened pulleys
Bosch 044 fuel pump mounted in-tank
Chargespeed colour coded air intakes with cold air feed
Chargespeed reverse bonnet scoop (allows hot under-bonnet air to escape, as intercooler is now front-mount, and big bonnet scoop is redundant)
Stainless steel mesh radiator and intercooler grilles
Flocked centre console

Stainless Steel number plate surround
Blue side indicators with silver bulbs, silver indicator bulbs all round
Plush boot mat
Rear fog light integrated into rear cluster

COSWORTH 2.5 LITRE ENGINE:
I recently decided to give the car the torque I think it needed, and the bulletproof strength to allow up to 700 bhp, if it were required.
So I had the Cosworth EJ25 (STI) short block fitted.
Cosworth EJ25 short block includes the following:
New Subaru EJ25 STI Engine case; Subaru forged Steel 79mm Crankshaft; Cosworth Forged H-beam Connecting Rods; Cosworth Forged Pistons and rings; Cosworth Coated, Tri-metal bearings; Balanced to within 0.5 gram; Complete blue-print assembly; Ring gap checked; Bearing clearance checked; Deck height checked; Connecting Rod side clearance checked; Crankshaft end float checked.
Additionally, I have fitted the Cosworth high pressure oil pump and sump baffle plate to stop any risk of oil surge or blow-by, on track days.

Stacks of receipts, mot certs and paperwork to substantiate all the claims.

All this for £10250

PM me if interested.

Sounds tempting mate, but I'm looking to replace the STI with something a little more frugal! Think my next car will be either a BMW 535D touring, or perhaps a Range Rover Vogue diesel.
