Anything Wrong with this clutch?

http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...ti-judder.html

looking at getting a pink box but noticed this blue box clutch - cars currently running 280BHP - looking at going upto about 325 - would this be strong enough or is it for unmodified scoobs running the normal 215 - 225bhp?

Thanks :)

Drop them an email on the contact form on their website. They will soon tell you how much bhp it's good for. They are usually pretty quick with a reply.

I have just ordered the one in the first link to me car. Not going to be getting it fitted until the end of next week though :(
There's a thread in the traders area on here :)

yeah the seller is Aztec Performance just wondering if it would be good enough for what i want it for - looking at getting TD05, pinks fuel pump and another remap soon too - so just wondering if its upto the task of handling the power - its says good for 350bhp but not to sure

EOEUMC 17 April 2013 10:26 AM

It's what they recommended to me and mine is only around 280-290bhp. Already got the tdo5 as its a WRX import.
Ask the question on their thread in the trader forum :)

Go for the Pink. :) I had a blue and it's ok but you can slip and stink it fairly easily c.320 :)

Although a slipping clutch is better than a stripping 3rd ;)

Hi mate,

For the 300 to 400bhp range use this one: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...der-230mm.html

If funds allow, a complete package with lightweight forged flywheel is a great upgrade and saves messing about having your old flywheel skimmed etc: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...a-5-speed.html
