Just been to see this film .......

Die Hard meets Independence Day ........

Why do these American films always end so fake that it ruins the 2 hours which has gone before?

Lots of violence in it - this aspect was more hard core than most general films.

Why do they fcuk up good films with these cheesy endings?

So how did it end I'm assuming one guy single handedly went on the rampage and saved the planet (well America) all by himself then walked off into the sunset as though nothing happened?

A single ex Special Forces and Security Bodyguard to the President saved the USA from Nuclear destruction ..... he, alone, rescued the President from the bunker in the White House.

It ended as American Films do ....... patriotic claptrap - and this always ruins half decent films!

The basic disaster is that the baddie has got the codes to self destruct all of Americas Nuclear Missiles in their Silo's.

When everyone knows that you can only self destruct once the device has armed itself - and it doesn't arm itself while sitting in the Silo!!! :rolleyes:

Olympus has fallen seems to be based on the Vince Flynn, Mitch Rabb novel, that had a cheesy ending as well, but I do fancy seeing at the cinema.

There was a BIG queue to see the Film I must say.

Of course, it was a free viewing - but, it's unusual for it to be so full.

To be fair it has had it's fair share of advertising on TV and the likes..

Was it worth seeing apart from the ending?
