But in my continuing search for soft bluesy sax I came across this and despite its funereal background has some wonderful soft sax. Definitely late night with glass of claret stuff. Worth a listen if you have time. David |

cheers for that. just reminded me of my mum, she loved stuff like that. and would listen to it for hours when my dad was out working all hours when i was a kid,that was lovely:notworthy

Scrap Iron on Duke Pearson's "right touch" album is worth a listen if this is your thing.
I had a girlfriend years ago, who was really into jazz and blues. Many a saturday night into sunday morning was spent drinking red wine and listening to this kinda music.
