Engine Advice Needed!

Hi dudes,
Here's my new project, 94 wrx in average condition. No major mods planned, maybe some new gold alloys, change rear lights back to standard, colour code skirts, new brakes etc. Limited mechanical skills so just trying to tidy it a bit with some subtle changes. Glad to hear any suggestions! Just realised I cant post pictures so not a very exciting first post!!

the best pre 96 cars imo are the ones which look standard (ish) but go quick and have good mechanicals.

looks nice mate. put some standard lights on it and tidy up the rear fog (you can put the fog into the place of the drivers reverse light with a red bulb).

I like that pal sit's nice on those rims like above some crystal lights and fogs would make it fresh at the front.:thumb::thumb:

Colour coded skirts

Hi, decided to have a go at colour coding the side skirts. Just using some paint from halfrauds and gave it a few coats. Never going to be a perfect job but I think it improves the overall look of the car?

Engine Advice Needed

Hi,
Been having problems with my engine the last few months and it's really starting to annoy me now. Hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction of the problem. I have very limited knowledge of engines so I will give as much info as poss, some of which may not be relevant!

When I start car from cold it runs at about 1500 rpms and then starts hunting for revs dropping right down to 600 revs and sounds like it will cut out but doesn't, once it has heated up then it idles steadily!

1. Car is weekend driver so limited miles
2. I had cel code 32 - o2 sensor and left car in to get a few faults fixed
3. down pipe got replaced but it would appear o2 sensor in down pipe is not wired to anything!
4. Cel light is now flashing but not giving out any fault code.
5. when I start car before it turns over I get a constant fast click, click, click, click until the car starts
6. I noticed a connection just below the radiator wasn't connected to anything.
7. It's a 94 wrx Jdm import

Any advice or help appreciated!!

Leave the car as it is buddy Classic Prefacelift are the best!!

As for O2 sensor. yours originally will be in the manifold on the drivers side, just before the pipes join together at the up pipe and get sent to the turbo. You can use either location, but if it comes apart I'd rather mine in the downpipe after the turbo, than before and have to go through the turbo to get out.

As for the other plug, I'd not worry too much as many things were catered for on the loom that aren't used. So if there is something close then use it, if not don't worry too much.
