Eibach springs the same? Prodrive / Pro Kit?

are the Eibachs PRODRIVE springs the same as the Eibachs Pro Kit springs that I see being sold at places?

Gambit 13 April 2013 12:34 AM

No. Prodrive are linear springs, eibach pro kit are progressive.

Thanks. Being thick, what's the difference?

Progressive spring get harder gradually when pushing where normal springs stay always the same...

The Pro's are too soft, and they over-lower, best avoided

so I'm ok going for the prodrive ones... being fitted thursday :)

The Prodrive's (made by Eibach) are infinitely better than the Pro R

salsa-king 14 April 2013 06:42 PM

Are these for your hatch? If so I'm afraid I have no experience in that application

If it was me I would happily go with the prodrive's

Well, as much as i know you know your stuff , i'm not sure prodrive's would be better than Pro R kit, it's very personal opinion.. I must agree , they lower a bit to much , but Prodrives are as soft and gives not alot comparing to standart springs ... Everyone's to their on i guess...
