BC Racing coilovers 02-07 WRX only 6 months old

SOLD

Hi all,

I have for sale a set of BC Racing coilovers to fit 02-07 WRX, I believe that they will also fit the newage Sti up to 05 but please check your model with BC Racing to be sure. These have only been on the car for 6 months and covered less than 3000 miles in this time. They are in almost new condition with only a little paint peel on the front springs but this is just cosmetic. The coilovers are still under warrantee so i can guarantee they are in full working order.

I am selling as i need to free up some cash. I am asking £525 ONO delivered mainland UK which is a saving of £250 on a new set.

Spring rate: 5 front 4 rear

If you have any questions then feel free to ask, thanks for looking.

How did you find these comfort wise? I'm looking for something I can setup for the odd track day and annual Nurburgring trip as and when required but that can be returned to a more comfortable setting for the bulk of my driving on the road..?

Also, these a direct bolt on for a WRX Hawkeye, nothing else needed?

Hi mate,

Yes they are a direct fittment for the WRX Hawkeye as they just came off mine. Ride wise, the quicker you go the smoother everything gets and on the motorway they are more comfortable than the standard set up in my opinion but you will feel it over poor roads and speed humps, it can be quite hard and crashy in these situations but there are no coilovers out there that don't suffer in the same way. I cannot comment on the ride feel when they are turned fully to soft because I never tried it but imagine it would improve comfort. I had them set up 10 from soft on the front and 15 from soft on the rear to give a good balance and to dial out understeer. They make a world of difference to handling and my only regret is that I never got around to trying it on track as it was epic across the Brecon mountains! I would imagine on a smooth track they would be even better!
Cheers,
Ian
