Anyone recognise this JDM WRX

Spoke to the seller and he hasn't had it long although claims 350bhp from the previous owner. He said there are various receipts and documentation so I've asked him to look for an RR printout. Apparently:

"THE CAR HAS HAD A FULL JDM ENGINE REBUILD,NEW CLUTCH,NEW CAMBELT,
NEW JDM TD05 TURBO,550CC INJECTORS,STI INTERCOOLER,BAILEYS BLOW OFF VALVE,
HKS INDUCTION KIT,4INCH EXHAUST STRAIGHT THROUGH,
AND TO ACCOMODATE THESE MODIFICATIONS A STAGE 2 REMAP WHICH MAKES IT 350BHP AND 460NM OF TORQUE"

I think most of what he is saying comes from the previous owner, hopefully who still resides on here.

Hmm, sounds dodgy to me, I'm running a td05 it's producing 336/330 and I would say its about maxed out! I can't see a 2ltr producing that amount of torque either, it should stay with the power curve on a 2ltr

ask him who mapped it and has he got the rr printout?

this usually sorts out the bullsh1tters

4 inch exhaust straight through!!! really?? it would sound like a fecking jumbo jet.

Yeah I've already asked him for any info on the mods and a RR printout. I know he doesn't know much about it as he took it in PX on a previous vehicle. I would have thought that if the description is mostly correct then this car would have appeared on here at some point.

it looks a nice car but id take the mods and power output with a pinch of salt.

if that torque figure is correct id be bloody amazed and the bhp is highly optimistic too,

I'll wait and see what he comes back with and put the details in this thread.

Does it have a rear wiper? Not many Newage JDM WRX about.

also has a prodrive front bumper which i dont think was available on jdm cars

It's had a front bumper swap, Only jap car to have the prodrive bumper also has a roof vent, Its got UK wrx headlights and not prodrive ones, :thumb:

The figures are possible as the torque figure is 339 in old money (lb ft)... But I'd still want more proof!
