wiring a defi bf tachometer help please
 

i need to no there is the engine speed input wire is and what colour it is .it says green wire to engine speed input .

my car is a v3 sti jdm 1997

Small middle plug pin 14 two from the bottom left, the top right wire is number 1 from the wire side of the plug for reference.

any chance you could dumb that down for me please. ive just got one meself and struggling with where is the input wire. are you talking about the 3 plugs that go into the back of the instrument cluster? ive got a bugeye jdm x reg is it the same on my as his classic cheers:wonder:

just an fyi the defi tach i bought off ebay was a knockoff beware if buying an 80mm defo bf tachometer off the time2000 fair warning. its rubbish, hopefully going back
