Advice from anyone with an OMP steering wheel needed

I have a hawkeye and am thinking to replace the steering wheel for an aftermarket OMP Corsica Dished wheel.
Other than the wheel itself, what else would I need to fit it?

Does anyone know if a Disklok (Small 35-39cm) will still fit over the steering wheel?

Also, are there any issues with running this steering wheel in terms of passing MOT since it doesn't have an airbag?

You will be fine with the MOT,And you will need The boss Kit that's it.SJ.

I've done the same in my blobeye mate make sure the air bag light is off when going for an mot as they can fail it on having the warning light on

When you get a proper boss kit it usually comes with the wires to keep the airbag light out and I have had numerous MOT passes with a after market steering wheel with air bag cars and it's passed every time.SJ.

I had an omp boss kit but never came with a wiring kit. The only wires I had was for the horn I'm not that fussed about it anyway now it's on.

A boss kit and and a 3ohm resistor for the airbag light. (I have some resistors £1 delivered)

Wiring kits for boss kits for airbag are rare to get and at more money

The dished wheel maybe too close towards you when fitted, make sure you are comftable with that, I wasn't so bought a flat suede one
