Sorry, is there any idea of price? Could well be interested in some for a bugeye ... price and funds allowing.

BlueBugEye 08 April 2013 07:08 AM

I'm after a decent quality reverse scoop for a bugeye something like the RCM one for blobs:

Also you can get carbon flaps as fitted to mine:

Flexible and robust, my fronts now hit the floor on every corner!

I'd prefer if they weren't in carbon as I'd be painting them and if they were cold air feeds rather than brake cooling ducts

+1...

romford-boy 16 April 2013 11:28 AM

How do these actually duct cold air to the brakes? Surely it would hit the tyre surface and be dispersed - wouldn't it need piping taking the cold air form the intake to about an inch from the caliper?

CarBen Fibre Creations 17 April 2013 11:07 AM

I can supply fibreglass and carbon. The ducts will be made and depending on your pipe routing you could use them for cold air feeds if required.

Are people currently ducting them at the moment / in the photos above?

Not sure in the photos but that is the ideal way to do it, some small ducts direct to the front brakes held in place to help cool quicker. I suppose the same could be used for a cold air feed you'd just need to re-route the ducting.

Moley 17 April 2013 02:31 PM

Mine is used as an induction for the air filter rather than the brakes

ZX-TT 18 April 2013 09:58 AM

If you could make the CF fog Ducts for a Bugeye I would definitely take a set, Ive been hunting for some for ages and just cannot find them

scooblet 12 May 2013 01:12 AM

We are looking to use our too more for induction than for brakes

Not sure, but when I've look on this, there is in the way arch linner, with which you can't use those ducts for cooling the brakes(yes you can,but you will need to use some flexi hoses)

I'll know more on price when we have a look at them in the workshop.

stenik 03 October 2013 12:58 PM

Did these ever get produced? If so, what was the cost as I would like a set?

CarBen Fibre Creations 03 October 2013 01:03 PM

Not yet no they are on my to-do list, we have loads of projects coming up soon but with the busy workload we have its hard to get the new ones finished. I'll let you know when they are done :)

Jdm-brad 03 October 2013 05:02 PM

+1 for carbon ducts blobeye

2pot 05 October 2013 12:10 PM

What about these. They used to make them in carbon fibre. Matching fog light ducts, with removable covers, would be nice.

randyzimmer 30 December 2013 08:14 PM

Hi, "2pot"
Thanks for the mention.
Not exterior pieces at all, but work good on brakes!

kevfawcett 11 January 2014 06:05 PM

Any news on when these fog ducts might be available?

Big sparks 12 January 2014 05:49 PM

I'll Defo take a set in fibreglass , for anyone wondering if they will work with a fmic If your patient enough you can have them , I managed to retain my PIAA driving lights and surrounds after fitting my fmic , took a while and a fabrication of brackets but it all works ,

Dave

JamesDundee 08 November 2014 05:13 PM

Big sparks 08 November 2014 07:57 PM

JamesDundee 08 November 2014 08:28 PM

List is as follows:

1. JamesDundee (Jim)
2. Big Sparks
3.
4.

bustaMOVEs 08 November 2014 09:45 PM

JamesDundee 09 November 2014 12:55 AM
