Paul Doyle and Ksport UK are pleased to announce their entry into this year’s Time Attack Pro series.

After a year out the team are returning to the increasingly popular series with the very successful ground effect 2 door Subaru platform sporting some interesting developments.

The low slung, 800hp, nitrous equipped car will continue to use a proven Enginetuner supplied 2.35 Subaru engine built using custom internal components at Enginetuner’s HQ in Plymouth, Devon.

Power is transmitted to the track using the Kaps Transmissions R4 sequential gearbox as used extensively in aftermarket rally, hillclimb and Time Attack competition applications worldwide enabling lightning quick gear changes and assured reliability.

Brakes are the latest spec Ksport front and rear brake set-ups which have delivered consistent high performance in what is a very aggressive environment.

New for 2013 is a tie up with Simtek who are supplying and supporting their latest generation of specialised Subaru ECU and Centre Differential controllers. The Ksport guys have also teamed up with DJ Racecars for a supply of a specially developed high downforce rear wing setup.

Other supporters for 2013 include ScoobyTechs, Zen Performance, Hardrace bushes & suspension components and AET Turbos who will continue to support the large GT40 core front mounted turbocharger and Turbosmart wastegate systems.

Technical support and tuning both on and off the track for the 2013 season will be provided by Scoobytech and Graham Martin of Enginemapper with Paul Blamire of Zen Performance continuing to offer engineering advice and support for the all kevlar panelled sports car.

“I’ve been excited about returning to the Time Attack Pro Series for 2013” says Paul Doyle, “The Time Attack Pro Class competition this year looks to be fierce with fresh competition and returning competitors joining an already well- established field of cars proven at the highest level."
"I'm also very pleased to be able to retain support from Ksport UK and Enginetuner. I wouldn’t be in a position to compete with the car at the top level here in the UK without that support."

Bren, MD of KSport UK, commented “I am more than happy to continue to support Paul and his team. The 2013 KSport UK Time Attack Pro car is one of the most advanced modified production based vehicles in Europe and is a spectacular platform to demonstrate the performance and abilities of the KSport braking systems. The KSport UK Impreza uses the same braking kits as sold over the counter. I am looking forward to a successful campaign at the six Time Attack rounds this year and expect some close competition from our series rivals. It’s going to be an exciting 2013″

The time attack at Oulton Park has previously been on with the Modified Live shows and some drifting. Pretty easy to avoid the ICE showoffs and fibreglass abortions in the show arena and enjoy the open pits. MSV Trackdays I think sell tickets.
