Help needed - STi Rear Lights

I just received my new clear STi rear lights however when fitting the right one I noticed there are only 3 bulb holders compared to my standard 4... So when I plugged the light in and flicked the lights on I had no side light. Brake and indicator is fine just no side lights meaning I can't drive with them in the dark... Any ideas???

I had this issue on my old RB5. I had to use the bulb holders from my UK lights, and then cut the hole out where the 4th light goes (if i remember correctly, its thinner where it should be)

Yeah they sound like they are for an import.
Obviously sounds like you need to sell them to someone with an import.............. Like me :D  :thumb:

Considering i got them for a steal i could make a profit on them very easily, so if i do need to start hacking at things offers put on the table will be considered.. but i will see what i can do and how i get on first! :thumb:

I was only joking mate, but if you do decide to sell them let me know. May be able to have a deal with you, though I did end up buying those grids so will depend on price.

If you want to keep your foglight in the lights, then i think its a case of using your original UK bulb holder and getting a red fog bulb, as this will now be in the white reverse section (halfords for a quid).

I am sure that is what i had to do for mine....was a while and alot of beer ago, so i could be confused!

I fitted a set to my mates uk, had to swap a few wires over in the plug to make them work correctly, cant remember what ones now though.

Well the problem has been solved... I think last night I was in so much of a rush to get them fitted that I didn't think to check the bulbs.... Enough said really. Hahah
