Due to me putting a deposit down on a house i am forced to sell one of my beloved's !!

I imported this car last year, have all documentation to prove including original purchase invoice from Auction in japan & All Import Duties ETC ...
Purchased my self at auction as i have access to the auction house sites due to connections in motor trade in japan (Japan car direct) ! ( quite lucky )

Anyway i have had the car 7 months now (as i just taxed it last month)
This car is currently having a 6 speed conversion, along with Brand new 3,545 Rear diff !! New rear Areo space dirveshafts (as standard R180 ones shear off at hub) !!
When i removed all running gear and engine, i under sealed the car with grey stone chip, all holes have been filled/treated with wax oyl.

The car has loads of mods, cant remember all of them off the top of my head, so once car is back on the road (next week)
I will then walk around and make a list and update this advert,
I bought a JDM 6-Speed DCCD Gearbox Removed from a 2008 hawkeye Spec C RA. Reason i bought this particular Box as i did not want to sacrifice my short 5 speed dccd box for a long ration crappy uk dccd box which are the common upgrade. Then rather then spending £350 for a new Crown & Pinion for my current Diff, I bought a Brand New R180 LSD Plated Diff running 3,545 for £650 which was cheap !!!

So here is a few pics that i took a while ago when it was not long imported its changed alot now, standard bumpers etc.
Its going into bodyshop once its back running as i want to get all stone chips & scratches sorted so its immaculate !!

Any questions please ask

Good classics will sell for surprising money, trust me I know. Recently sold mine for a price that most on here thought was impossible to achieve.

However, you my friend will need as much luck as you can get.

Good luck with the sale :thumb:

I want this car so damn bad! You guys have No idea how Rare this car actually is. I don't know about 11k, I'm guessing that's £ and not $? 11k USD is maybe over priced but 11k EUR is definitely pretty steep. Regardless, its your car and you get the final say! If I could, I would buy it from you right this second, I have cash in hand! But I live in a country where my government doesn't want us having nice imports..Lol
I do have a couple questions for you tho, and it would make my day if you could answer them for me.
So the regular NON limited Ver5 STi RA has an engine code of "ej207dw1pj" and all the other STi's including the RA limited has an engine code of "ej207dw1pr" PLEASE tell me that you know what the difference is?!?
Also, I am attempting to build a Ver5 RA as we speak, and it would be awesome if you could post more pics, or even email me some pics so that i have something more detailed to go off of, like the interior and engine bay. You have no idea how hard it is to even find a picture of a Regular Ver5 STi RA.
Thank you

Are you saying these are the same car?

big_joe 06 August 2013 12:12 AM

To validate that price I'd be expecting a hugely detailed advert, covering every aspect of the car, it's mods and its history.........as well as detailed photos of every inch of the car. It could be worth that much.......who knows, but need to put a bit of effort in dude! Good luck with the sale, will look forward to the proper AD.

Sorry to say to the OP but I completely agree.

The effort in the ad does not warrent the price. You can't just come on here and start asked double for what a standard car goes for without detaiing the specs. If it is standard engine with light mods, you haven't got a chance of getting anywhere near £11k.

Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

WelDun1 07 August 2013 02:00 AM

I would pay £8000 for it the way it sits. I've been looking for one of these for awhile now, and even tho I can't import it, I've still been looking. One thing that I've come to realize is that these standard STi RA's are more Limited than the actual limited RA's. The Sonic Blue Limited RA's are everywhere in the UK, (Atleast that's what I've gathered) and these standard white RA's are practically impossible to find. For every Standard that I have found, & this is Not a Joke, I've found about 20 Limited models!
It may not be worth £11k right now, but it will be in the few years to come.

The car in this pic (post 20) is not an sti ra.

beliblisk 07 August 2013 10:15 AM

For 11k it should have at least stroker with 450+bhp,all supporting mods, suspension and brakes upgraded:)

I don't think they are quite as rare as you think. Maybe its just not many are for sale right now, I've certainly seen a number of late white sti ra's. Theres one on ebay now for under 8K if your after one.

Well I'm a member on type-ra.com and there is maybe one or two on the entire forum. Why don't you do a search, and tell me what you come up with. I can tell you of Atleast 50 RA limited's, including a few front clips. I can only show you about 5 MAX standard White Ver5/6 STi RA's, and those are all owned by someone, except one Ver6 on SVA that's for sale. So I believe that they are a little more Rare than what YOU think.

**EDIT**
And after searching for that RA that you said was on eBay, its the one that I was talking about from SVA. There simply just is not many standard Ver5/6 STi RA's out there. I believe it has something to do with them being used for actual Rally cars. That's just my theory though.
