Does it have a rechargable battery pack?

I will double-check today but I don't think so, I believe it uses 6xAA batteries for the car &
1x9v battery for the controller.
I think I know the Nikko cars you are thinking about, they are slightly bigger & much more detailed ( & expensive:)) Cheers,John
