what are your tyre pressures?
my98 type r, 215/45/17 toyo proxes
read on here 32 all round, what are your preferences/recommendations? |
My sizes are 235/40 18's. i run 32psi fronts and 28psi rears. .32psi all round sound ok. I would say that's not under or over pressure. Its just down to fine tuning for your preference,
225/45/18, I normally use 34F, 33R
225/45/17's in 888's. Day to day use 30F/30R.
2005 sti and just put 36 psi all round as going for a B road blast tomorrow. Is this to much?
For both my 2005 STI and 99 RA I keep the same pressure and that is 33F and 31R as reccommended by prodrive when I got prodrive spring kit fitted a good few years ago.
Remember this is the pressure when the tyres are cold and they will hit around 40 psi with a bit of temprature in them. Fronts are normally higher as supporting more weight. |
I always run my hatch at 34psi fronts & 32 psi rears
Depends on the tyre :) either 35/33 or 36/34 :)
RE070s above 32 psi feel like a brick... Keeping it on 30 overall...
if the cars been sitting for any length of time go to 40 plus and behave on your drive then come down to 32 after a day or 2 - this takes the flat spot out
If the car stays parked for 3 weeks at a time, what pressures should be used to avoid flat spots and tyre deterioration?
42-45 or so is OK? |
