Removing a roof vent
How easy is it to remove a stuck on roof vent?
Going to see a car with one on, and I personally don't like them so it will be coming off - just wondered how difficult it may be and what damage could result? Cheers |
I would guess the roofs going to need a full respray.

TBH if they've stuck a fake nasty roof vent on I'd probably steer well clear of the rest of the car too. God knows what else they have done (properly or not) :lol1:

Just be mindfull that a mate bought a blobeye with a large roof vent and it was bolted down! (When removed we were left with a 5p size bolt hole)

Use a high strength fishing line like a cheese wire to basically cut it off. Then carefully remove the sealant.
