Hi ive also got the pedders on my bug had um for year & half now, no real probs fitting but on the rears there is two types one where you swap the studs around & the type i got from them where you put a plastic type spacer on top mount, mine are only height adjustable so you can only adjust them with the c-spanner on the rings, the thing ive noticed it seems you got helper springs with yours which i didnt get,i do find the rears ping a bit now & again its the spring for some reason..
i thought at first i would have to do what chav has done & take the studs out of the top mounts & put them upside down.did you all get the ones they were advertising on ebay as it would be nice to know if i should of had the helper springs.i do find them to be pretty good over all though.if you look at my avatar thats how mine is siting now but i do need to drop the back a little.

The best way to drop the rear of the bug with these shocks is to have the later type rear set up and invert your top mount. Cut the original spring retainer off and the cup section that will now be facing upward. Knock the studs out and insert them the other way. That way you will have the red cup from the later style shock sitting around the rounded tapered edge of the inverted top mount. My car is pretty low and in around of the thread for adjustment.

Hi,by any chance do you have any photo's of the rear top & bottom of the coilover as it is on the car it would good to check mine against another car with them on.
like you said the fronts pretty straight forward & i can get mine really low,but the rears if i wind the c-rings right down the spring is lose, when it extends, thats another reason i wondered if you all got the helper springs.cheers
