Thank you very much.

The pillow bush arms make such a difference!!

as an aside and if you got hold of them, I think you can run VA sti arms on hatches also, they are the same pillow bush arm but with a different rear bush which has a slightly longer collar which would translate to even more caster. You'd also need to run the rear mounting bolt and the base plate for it...but that VA base plate is strengthened and then in turn would also you to run the subframe bracing that comes standard on them.

I'd love to get a hold of all those VA bits to see is if it actually doable because by eye everything seems to be compatible

matt-c 24 August 2023 12:55 PM

Someone on NASIOC must have done it?

Nice! im waiting on my control unit being delivered but hoping it should be here for next weekend!

Did you get it fitted yet?

And nope i can't find anyone who's fitted later VA bushed arms even in the US! I cross checked the base plates (bought both to check it) and they line up perfect...so I'm convinced it's doable

partsouq even sell the rear bushes seperate so you can retrofit VA bushes into the GV arm

GV bush

If you convert to the high castor arm, you may have to change your front tie rod ends to the high castor ones with a kink in them. If it's possible......

Yes, the heater controls are in and work ok, will add a pic later.

Following good experiance with Amayama on the dash trim, I've done another order.

Pillow ball front arms and flange bolts
Front door weather strips
Plastic trims for rear doors where the window is (these were loose and rattly)
Vinyl sash for outside of front doors (have the usual rust bubbles under these)

I did a thing, looks odd, but it's growing on me. Scoop blanking plate and black zunsport scoop grill for sale.

I don't know what to make of you and that Irish fella; he's a bad influence on you.
But I guess that you've truly got the ultimate sleeper hatch now.
Id be terribly confused if that view came up in the mirrors and flew past me

matt-c 08 November 2023 01:34 PM

I fear the bad influence goes both ways lol

Paintwork and Tomei ti means this mode is unavailable on my car.

So last couple of weeks, coolant temp has been all over the place. Going up to 101, then quickly down to 80 and everywhere in between.

Heater blowing cold.

Still running great though.

Suspected thermostat, took out the RCM one, popped in hot water and sure enough, stuck closed.
Fuji one has gone in and normality is restored.

Can Checked gauges mounted in modified dash pod, this has been a long time coming due to delays with the pod, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I was also thinking of treating myself to something like this, tell me, is it worth the money?

matt-c 12 April 2024 02:41 PM

I think it's important when tracking the car to have some critical info right in front of you.

Also, who doesn't love a few extra gauges.

Worth the money? Only you can decide.

soutcoastflocking for the pod (be prepared to wait) and CanChecked MFD15 Gen2 from wherever you can get them (always assuming you have the data available on canbus),

hedgecutter 14 April 2024 07:53 AM

I've just swapped my Zero Sports single dash pod with Defi 60mm boost meter for a twin pod with oil temp and pressure. I'm very pleased as I cant see the point of a boost gauge compared with oil info

matt-c 15 April 2024 07:56 AM

I agree boost is not as essential as it's made out to be, although it can be useful as a diagnostic (and reassurance) that you are achieving the desired boost pressure rather than over or under which could indicate issues.
