me heater fan blower thingy has stopped blowing too.

Check the resistor pack, just alongside the fan motor. Sits with the resistors inside the ducting to keep cool, but may be one of these has failed, check first before condemming the fan motor.

I would also check the multiplug on the heater switc and fan unit incase it has become dislodged. Mine came unplugged slightly on the blower and .......no blower at all

Thanks for your advice guys.
I pulled the fan unit out and gave it a spin with my fingers, checked all the cables and put it back together and it worked! Saved me £160 for a new blower. The subaru dealer said if the resistors had gone the blower usually only goes at full speed and none of the other speeds. Now I can demist the windscreen and see where I'm going. Happy days. Cheers |
