Wheelnuts. that wont rust

Are there any out there that dont rust?
They must be forged.
Muteki........3 months on the car..dull and rusty
A couple of sets from Revolution ..went rusty.

Dave Y 23 February 2013 07:57 PM

not one answer????????

Don Clark 23 February 2013 09:52 PM

Probably cus you want forged :D

McGard splinedrive wheel nuts in chrome or black chrome have a lifetime guarantee when registered with McGard Europe (based in Germany).

If chrome finish starts to break down they will replace for free. Had a complete set replaced 3 years down the road :thumb:

Dave Y 24 February 2013 10:16 AM

Where did you buy them Don?

Don Clark 24 February 2013 12:36 PM

Originally got mine via Demon Tweeks but it's quicker and cheaper to import from the US.

Most people use the Lug Shack

http://www.lugshack.com/category_s/48.htm

I've imported from Jegs
https://www.jegs.com/images/photos/6...71-65357bk.jpg

https://www.jegs.com/images/photos/6.../671-65357.jpg

Or you can buy direct from McGard Germany, but I believe they still have to bring them in from the US.

http://www.mcgard.de/en/home.html

McGard also do STi branded versions... (Local UK subaru dealer)

http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/25109...ype=pla&crdt=0

or Tim@ Scoobyparts can get McGard or has a nice range of other makes............

Cannon Fodder 24 February 2013 01:38 PM

Nice nuts. :D

I'd also be up for a set in black if anyone wants to start a group buy. :)

fpan 24 February 2013 01:50 PM

I have a set of OE ones with locking McGard nuts if you are interested.

Dave Y 24 February 2013 02:17 PM

I want black chrome

mantazini 24 February 2013 02:36 PM

Just got myself Spline Drive ones...43.50 Not bad for a proper wheel nuts..

You do realise they are "guaranteed for life" and any"damaged" will be swapped by McGard Germany for the cost of postage to them.
Have done this a couple of times with the original chromed versions which can breakdown on the spline edges :D:thumb:
