Yes, used them successfully on a number of projects. What's your question?

We have a number of servers and have what we believe to be all their IP addresses configured as partitions.

Underneath all the partitions in the manage screen there is a 'default' bucket for both incoming and outgoing.

We assume it is traffic that is not covered by one of the partitions. If this is the case, is there any way we can find out what the source or destination IP address of that traffic is because to the best of our knowledge all the IP addresses are configured in the Packeteer.

Thanks chaps.

Its probable scans to the unused part of the sub-net that your using for your servers. Does the Firewall show anything in the logs ?

Haven't checked the firewall but if I look at the top listeners and talkers in the outbound/default and incoming/default I have managed to find some IP addresses that were not configured .
That is really what I have been trying to track down.....

Thanks chaps.

You'll still route non-assigned IP addresses in the sub-net that your using ....
