BC Coilover leak at bottom??
Hi guys,
I've bought a used set of BC coilovers, fitted them a month or 2 ago but the car hasnt actually been used with them on as its having a lot of work done. Was just doing the rear brakes when i noticed the bottom of the NSR coilover was very wet with what feels like oil. It seems to be leaking from the very bottom, not from where the shaft enters as i'd have expected. I had a search & can't find anyone complaining of a leak from this part of the shock, i'll post pics in a bit but has anyone seen this before? Is it repairable? If so, who should i contact? Thanks guys, its a bit annoying that i bought these & they appeared to be in nearly perfect condition & to then find them leaking before i even get the car finished is somewhat frustrating!! :( Cheers, James |
I had a a leaking damper a while back from my bc br racing coilovers and so contacted Kev/Bren/Jason from Apex who supplied me a new damper for £101 plus some other bits foc. http://www.apexperformance.co.uk/
