UK made turbos that are Eqv to Bouch dom 1.5xtr?

Hi,

New member here from Australia, I have a 2002 bugeye STI (aus spec) and I am looking to get an upgrade from my TD05-20G with 8cm hotside.

It's a good daily turbo I'm not finding it laggy, but power drops flat around 6000rpm, and doesn't make anymore power. According to tuners around here it's pretty much the max the turbo will make.

I'm considering a blouch dom 1.5xtr as I have been told that will get me the power goals i'm after, and similar spool, but I have been advised to look into the UK made turbos as you guys might have turbos that have 7cm hotsides that will spool better than the 1.5xtr but make similar power.

So i'm looking for any advice you guys can offer to point me in the right direction!

Try lateral performance or scoobyclinic

scoobyclinics seem to be giving the best results at the min, they're made by blouch :)

I have been told that SC42 is exactly the same as 1.5XTR.

Can I ask what the point is of wanting it to make MORE power over 6000rpm?

Isn't 6000rpm enough?
