I only have the Wii and the first Black Ops and W@W CODs. I don't think I'm too bad, just can't be bothered with all the prestiging. Which of the two do you prefer, COD on XBox or PS3, I'm considering PS3 12GB and putting a spare HD in.

Play them all on ps3, nearly finished first pass at Black Ops 2 :)

plays as good as identical on both consoles, i use the ps3 version as the lads at work all have ps3 but i prefer the online part of xbox as it seems to be more sorted and work better, the ps3 online is free though and it plays blu ray.

so i bought both consoles, i actually have 2 ps3s now as i bought one from here last week.

I've only played on a PS3 a few times round a friends house, but apparently the PS3 is better for single player gaming, but if you're more of a multiplayer online gamer (like myself), then go for the xbox.

Also, rumours have it that a PS4 should be announced by Sony towards the end of February.

having both consoles i cant see how ps3 is better for single player gaming, the games are mostly identical on both consoles but i do agree the multiplayer part is better on xbox.

ps4 is due in uk early 2014

both consoles are excellent though, i couldnt choose between either thats why i have both.

blu ray is ps3s biggest advatage over the xbox though.

Unless you have a blu ray player then there is no advantage ;)

I think that a lot of the time it boils down to what most of your friends have. For me, a lot of my friends have Xbox's, which is the reason why I bought mine. I'm sure if most of them had PS3's, I would have bought a PS3 instead :lol1:

and i dont hence i have 2 ps3s, the ps3 was cheaper than a dedicated blu ray player.

if it didnt have blu ray i think i would just have an xbox though
