How to fit a front mounted intercooler
 
I've just bought a front mounted intercooler and in wondering how difficult it's I'd to fit I'm a fully qualified mechanic but just never fitted one before any help ?

If you fancy a little more work ( not that much)
Reverse your inlet and have shorter intercooler pipes

i fitted front mount to my old car 98 sti, its not a bad job to do. theres a bit of cutting at the front to get the pipes to go up the sides and theres lots of cutting of the bumper,i found that part the worst actually. just have cutting tools and a good few spare hours:thumb:

its not that hard, depends on how handy you are with the spanners.
took me a full day on my blob sti.

Definately measure a few times and cut once.

Watched Darren at DLM in Darlington cut my bumper.

If he fitted it once, he fitted it thrirty times, each time cutting a little more.

The result is a brilliant fit, mind.
