Type R Rolling Shell-Apple Kandy Red paint job

Type R rolling shell with no driveline parts fitted at all -(engine, gearbox, diff, brakes, ecu, ARB’s and the front seats).

I will not be selling any parts off this shell.

-Painted in Apple Kandy Red at a cost of £6500 just for the paint job itself. The car was originally black and was as straight as a die. The Apple Kandy Red starts off with a red cinder base(solid colour) followed with a Rage Spectraflash fleck(metallic flakes) under the Kandy to give glitter metallic effect in the sun, however this does not make it like a normal metallic paint as the fleck is below the Apple Kandy.

The colour glitters in the sun and it changes depending on the angle, it is difficult to explain and very hard to capture in a picture, it really has to be seen in the flesh to be understood and appreciated.

This paintjob was done by Andy Giles who is one of a very few people in the UK who can truly spray Apple Kandy and get the correct top quality finish, the way it should be done.

The bootlid, boot spoiler and bonnet are Seibon carbon fibre and did not have the red cinder base coat applied, only the Spectraflash and Kandy were applied which makes it see through, so that you can see the carbon fibre weave through the paint and adds a contrast over the other panels.

This shell offers all the refinements of a type R, from the R180 hubs and shafts, to the added body strength(2 door), to the DCCD wiring, Aircon, etc, plus the added extra of the show stopping and potential show winning paintjob, body modifications, interior flocking & carbon fibre and security all detailed below.

The following is included with the shell:

-Full whiteline/Powerflex poly bushes fitted through out including ALK and steering rack. Done about 1000miles.

-RAC trackstar tracker fitted.

-Clifford Concept 650 mk2 alarm with an option of intellistart and tilt and break glass sensors.

-All the interior excluding front seats

The interior has a flocked dash and centre console in black upper and grey lower sections.

The centre console trim is modified and carbon wrapped, to accommodate the EDFC and AVCR. I will supply a standard centre console trim with the car.

STI embroidered leather gear gaiter.

Velour roof lining and rear parcel shelf.

Triple gauge dash pod 60mm.

Aluminium Pedals

Black boot carpet with red piping

-New windscreen fitted.

-Crystal headlights,side lights,indicators, side repeaters.
