1996 uk turbo 2000 ecu
 

can anybody tell me if this is a standard ecu for my car, is it mappable, is there another ecu i can plug straight in to match setup, vf 22 turbo stainless decat pipe injectors im unsure about at the moment not had car to long so still finding bits out about it time permitting. hope link works to picture if not on label it says

8s is found in the 97-98 uk turbos, its a 3 plug and is only mappable via an ESL board.

Do you know if there is another ecu I can fit which is mappable or is esl board my only option.

You could fit the likes of an apexi but to be honest the esl is probably better and both cost about the same.

Can I just unplug this to make sure it not already been messed with without any ill effects when I plug back in. Reason being I'm not a expert knowledge wise but specs says about 210 bhp but it feels like there is abit more than that, driven fast cars before but this pulls like a bitch.
