Drop me a pm with what kind of place your looking for. Lived here 43 years so I've got an idea on the hotels.

Worth giving uni a buzz as they may well have some discount deals in place? dl

Agree, you never know till you ask and it'll probably be cheaper and you'll be closer.

Looks quite nice and not stupidly expensive.

Don't be fooled, Jods, Warwick university isn't in Warwick. :D

Cheap rooms with a TGI Friday's onsite and only 10-15 minutes away (assuming you avoid rush hour). http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/C...ast-binley/a46

Harvester on-site and as near as you need. (5 minutes). http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/C...ntry-south-a45

Or the Village Hotel, but more expensive. (10 minutes) http://www.village-hotels.co.uk/hotels/coventry/welcome

Anything else isn't really worth it if it's just a bed and food you need.

;-) you done gone and spoiled my fun dammit.

You'll be telling me that Leeds Castle ain't in Leeds next !!

At the risk of exposing myself to the accusation that I actually thought Warwick Uni was in Warwick.

Here is a hotel that I found based on the actual location of said seat of learning.

Not even a good attempt to hide your embarrassment, Jods. :lol1:

You'd have done better to not highlight it with 3 posts in succession.

Keep the wool for someone else. :lol1:

Meh. I don't mind being exposed as geographically challenged. :thumb:
