Rota Grid Drift Vs XXR 527's

I'm thinking between the two alloys mentioned above, but on a blob eye 4 door what's the best size to go for, ET and tyre size aswell?

Not sure whether I prefer the fat tyre or stretched look.... Any pictures :)

iv been lucky enough to own both sets of grid drifts and xxrs, 8.75 if you wanna go safe, 9.75 if you wanna go real agressive, but requires a big stretch , camber and arch roll, grid drifts are a lot safeer bet, still require arch work if your not going to strech tyres

Yawn both sets a soo 2012, how about something different. Drop maggs a PM as he is a rota dealer and I'm sure he can let you know what NEW styles are due 2013 so you can start a new trend, all just imo

Good luck

The Sistine Chapel still looks good today. That work of art was part of the Renaissance art movement. In the same vein the Grid Drifts and the XXRs are a timelessly classic alloy. With the wide, muscular stance stance they endow and the concave dish few alloys look as good. All IMHO.:D

Any issues with rubbing? looking at a set and got same size tyres on current alloys with plenty of tread left.

Take it they are ET35?

MattyB1983 24 January 2013 01:44 PM

Drifts everytime for me, they look amazing. Almost makes me want a newage.

Yes ET35 and yes I did have a slight arch rub on the rears on hard cornering. Sorted now had the arches rolled so more room for the future :D
