IMHO, women are the worst for this, they deny having done it too.

Gutted for you. My little one thought it was a great idea to clean snow off my RB320 this pm with a plastic spade. Fortunately no damage at all - can you ground a three year old?

I have had someone scrape the whole side of my car :( both doors, arch and rear bumper, and I would have classed mine as near mint before :(

I had someone hit my rb320 a couple if years ago. Completely f**ked the rear Quater. Pushes the car into the kerb. Scratches the alloyed and done in the wheel bearing and just drive off

LOL, my two-year old rushed up to help me clean my car...with a wire brush he found in the garage.........:D

Thankfully, I couldn't afford a Scoob in those days.

I can feel your anger & frustration mate especially considering the car was clean. I would be so gutted myself

I get the image of some old advert where a kid is helping clean the car with a scouring pad!

Someone did this outside a hospital to one of my old Subarus. They royally smashed the front of the car in but I had the registration of the car that had been parked next to me. It was even caught on CCTV. The problem? Registration didn't exist!

When I was young, I "cleaned" my Dad's car with Vim.

Not sure if it is still available but it was basically an abrasive gritty bath cleaner.

He wasn't amused especially as he used to show his car at the Owners' Club.

Similar reaction to when my sister and I used his records one day to skate on in the lounge. Not sure if they are still available - they were big black plastic disks on which a needle was scraped for music :lol1:

A lot of people are just basically dishonest these days, I blame Thatcher ;)

But seriously that is a bummer as the car was so clean before. I feel for you.

Happened to me 3 years ago in the bad weather. Came back to my Civic Type R to find the front end rearranged and no note of anyone who had done it.

Put simply I just expect the worst in people these days and I am rarely wrong.

A mate paid his girlfriends son £5 to clear off outside and wash his car so they could have some sexy time, he went out to see how he'd done to find he had used a scouring pad to get the stubborn bits off, i couldn't stop laughing when i saw it.:lol1:

Had the same with my brothers CTR - neighbour had driven straight into the side of his car and caused £2500 worth of damage. We could see paint from my brothers car all over the neighbours car but police didn't give a toss (not that we expected much from them!)

To the OP, sorry to hear of your woes, hope it's a straightforward cheap fix!
