Recall in USA for door light problem

In the USA Subaru are recalling lots of models to fix a door light problem. Apparently the lights beneath the doors can overheat and cause a fire. To quote a news report from http://www.ibtimes.com/subaru-recall...le-light-issue

"The recall is for all Outback and Legacy cars from model years 2010 and 2011 as well as Tribeca SUVs from 2006 through 2012 and Forester SUVs from 2009 through 2012. Subaru said the Tribecas and Foresters were sold before January 2012."

Has anyone heard about such a recall in the UK?

UK cars probably didn't get those lights...as usual...:mad:

Well my Legacy 2012 model has lights that show you the puddle you are about to step in, and are slightly useful, but you may be right that they are different.
