I like!

g7prs 21 January 2013 03:57 PM

I think it would look great with a smaller bonnet scoop but each to their own and all that:thumb:

crazyspeedfreakz 21 January 2013 04:02 PM

mickp 21 January 2013 04:06 PM

Not for me but it would be a boring world if we all liked the same things.

pjarvis6666 21 January 2013 05:07 PM

Looks awesome. very aggressive :thumb:

Jacko4130 21 January 2013 05:09 PM

I like Hatchs, But i dislike this....

Looks like its got to much going on.

tubbytommy 21 January 2013 05:10 PM

i like the aerocatches...............

Fonzey 21 January 2013 06:32 PM

I remember when people were bombing around in Citroen Saxo's with scooby bonnet vents stuck on, now it seems people are trying to make their Scoobies look like Citroen Saxo's from 2001 :D

Looks like you've gone to town on it mate, kudos for doing something different - but not my thing :)

bioforger 21 January 2013 06:51 PM

nardoblue 21 January 2013 07:16 PM

The snow looks great.....the car still looks f##king ugly

coleman 21 January 2013 07:20 PM

I like the black mud flaps.

spuker1 21 January 2013 08:19 PM

I quite like it. Only thing it keeps it down, if anything are those wheels. Would look so good with something like anthracite or white Volk TE37 :)

Carlh 22 January 2013 07:07 AM

Lol, I lovethe different opinions everyone has.

I need some ideas and please don't say scrap it lol

mickp 22 January 2013 07:23 AM

Carl

That front number plate looks all wrong IMO. Needs to be smaller and sat at the right angle mate.

salsa-king 22 January 2013 07:33 AM

I just don't like the 10yr old scoop on newer cars.

bumper quite good but as said the number plate looks wrong.

might look good also with different coloured wheels..... green?

Fleetster 22 January 2013 08:00 AM

I like it mate!

lordharding 22 January 2013 08:16 AM

Wheels look great
Number plate is wrong need to adopt the American style square one on a bracket on the lhs
And a number plate blank that would tidy up the front end

mike2367 22 January 2013 12:19 PM

I like it overall, things i would personally change are;

Get rid if the scoop, one of the best features of the hatch is the built in scoop. But keep the bonnet vents if possible, looks similar to a focus rs which isnt a bad thing.

I'd change the wheels for something like work cr kai's in white or silver (or rota torques as the cheaper option).

And do something with the number plate.

But its a very aggressive looking car and i like it.

+1 Actually. I like older STi high scoop but those built in ones from hatchbacks are just perfect! :)

Simon Gunson 22 January 2013 12:59 PM

If I could own a car that looked like this, I wouldn't complain ;)

Tidgy 22 January 2013 01:04 PM

not very keen myself, but know you love it carl and thats whats important :)

As above. Lose the scoop, doesn't do anything aesthetically and is acting as an air brake slowing you down. Plus it obscures the view ahead (the thing I noticed on mine going scoopless). Re-site the number plate to the bumper but go for a small, discreet jobbie. The multispoke wheel are old hat as is the gold finish. Some Rota Grid Drifts in white (for contrast) or a dark finish to keep the stealthy theme going. The rear spoiler looks like a bit of an afterthought in my opinion I'd lose it (although more photos of the rear are needed). Other than that, great job.:thumb:

Carlh 22 January 2013 03:26 PM

cheers all :)

Ive been tackling the number plate issue for ages, theres just no where flat enough to hold it on. When I go back to the clinic for my 2013 mods later in the year, will have a chat about it.

Least it stays on, which is more than what I can say about the plate when I had it double-sticky-taped on lol

bustaMOVEs 22 January 2013 03:36 PM

Love the bumper but don't like the oversized scoop.

Maybe get a stick-on one and put it on the splitter just next to fmic, if there's enough of smooth surface for it... other thing is to have import ones made and have it on the side...

Abx 22 January 2013 03:50 PM

Carl, can you not put the plate where it goes as standard, will not block the front mount much and look much better.

Abx 22 January 2013 03:54 PM

And on the mod front, how about:

A reverse scoop as you have FM anyway, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1836004
Spec C roof vent http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?start...:20,s:100,i:64
JDM or carbon mirrors to complement the bonnet http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gr-exter...dor-style.html

Reverse scoop, hmmm I would say no as it seems a little too much with the other bonnet mods. Plus the standard scoop looks so right. The roof vent and mirrors a definite yes! They look so cool, sorry for the vernacular.
I'm liking the plate on the white hatch in the photo, EWW EVO.:D
