Is that the brand new style? Couldn't even fit all of the Granturismo 5 updates on it let alone anything else :|

its around a month old so assuming its the latest version

been reading reveiws, everyone saying its a joke! why on earth did they release that one??

but i think you can legally buy uprated parts to help

but as an unwitting customer, you go in shop see it for sale with a game included, no-one says anything about low memroy ect and the damage is done!

my own fault really though :(

It's on the box in plain sight that it's only 12GB.

You need a laptop harddrive for it, and possibly a USB memory stick as you'll have to download the firmware for it, well I had to when replacing the hard drive in my fat PS3.

The 12GB unit is aimed mostly at people wanting to stream media etc and competes with the similar version of the 360.

It actually works out cheaper to buy the 12GB and put your own hard drive in. You need a 2.5" SATA laptop hard drive, plus Sony's caddy for it. Caddy is about £8 and a 320GB drive is about £36 and will be plenty unless you intend to download lots of films. With the super slim model that you will have, you just fit the drive and it will format it and transfer all data from the inbuilt 12GB storage when you turn it on. You then lose the 12GB storage though and will only have the hard drive's capacity. My cousin has the same problem, he got one for xmas so I bought him GT5 to play, but he said it won't let him as not enough storage.

personally get PlayStation Plus and back up all games to Cloud, not only do you get ****loads of games free, lots of other goodies. then buy a big 500gig drive, then leech all the new games 2
