Given up with getting the blob dials to work for now, but I have tweaked the OE dials - no green light anymore, just need to get some LEDs to make them less orange and more white:norty:

Also, did some more work on the a-pillar which is now completely blended - and at a fraction of the £50 of a nomad 60mm a-pillar pod - just need to order some more black plasti-dip for the A, B and C pillars.

Had a slightly more productive day today. Swapped the front discs over so they are now on the right sides, and while I was there I managed to remove the front ABS sensors so another few grams saved:D

Started to replace some of the blue hose, all of the vacuum and washer hose is now red.

In a bit of a dilemma now though. I had someone lined up who was going to let me use a ramp so I could swap out the rear trailing arms and brake lines - at the same time I was going to swap out the master cylinder/servo and finish of the bias valve plumbing but he's gone incommunicado so I'm now stuck for somewhere to finish those jobs off - need a ramp to get decent access for pressing the rear hub bushes out and leveraging the trailing arm nuts:(

Some goodies arrived today - 4AWG amp wiring kit to use as a base for the battery relocation wiring - it's cheaper to buy this lot and throw the extra cables away than to buy lengths of 4 AWG cable:wonder:

Don't know - it comes and goes. Alloy trays are pricey when you consider I can make one for under a fiver:norty:

Decided to do some more work on the dash today which was slow because it so 'kin cold out -3 most of the day. I traded my old carbon triple gauge pod for a top pod for the PSI3 although it was missing the metal bracket in the pic below...

The bracket not only fits the accessory to the pod, but also the pod to the dash:wonder:

I use a lint roller which is fine on the flatter bits but no good on the complex curves:thumb:

Is it really .I really like the look of it but i would be stressing trying to clean it all time.We should do a detail session soon good weather be here soon.

I've just stocked up on snow-foam and wheel cleaner - tried it on the front wheels when I swapped the brakes around and it works a treat, just need to add some rimwax but the axel stands started creaking because of the slope of the drive:eek:

Need to get some darker 8x17's thou' and some coilovers, after I've fitted the turbo and paid for another remap:D

looks good jon but i have to ask, why didnt you fit blob sti dials? as these have a centre rev counter and shift light.

They were WRX gauges so no shift light, but the centre rev counter was a big plus. The problem was the water temp gauge was faulty and if I swapped the fuel/water set from my bug gauges the fitment for needles were different. My red needles home made, the blob gauges are OE and they are noticably different side-by-side:(

Not a lot done this weekend, just repaired by RCM induction kit (I needed to fit and tap the MAF threads after the old screw heads snapped of an I had to drill them out). I also have another K&N and a Japspeed MAF pipe. The quality of that pipe is shocking with the MAF mounting threads about 2mm out compared with the MAF holes - so I've modded the MAF holes to fit that too:D

I have a lot more red hose to go in, inlet and rocker covers to be painted wrinkle black (and maybe the header tank too:wonder:) and then oil catch can, MAF pipe and FMIC pipework to be powder coated satin black.

Got a set of STI pinks and VF34 to fit along with a TGV delete. While I'm under the bonnet I'm going to relocate the battery to the boot, fit a grounding kit, make a bracket to mount the OE recirc valve with the FMIC, get a non-aircon alternator bracket, remove the aircon rad an fit the new alloy rad, red alloy pulleys and sort the leaking rocker cover:thumb:
