Harvey Smith ported up pipe

I have one Harvey smith ported and wrapped up pipe for sale.

I bought it for my hawk sti back in september but never used it, the heat wrap is a bit grubby but apart from that its brand new. Comes with studs, looking for £100 delivered.

Surprised this hasn't gone as I've seen a few people asking for hs uppipes

MrNoisy 13 January 2013 12:43 AM

Actually this will mate to any standard fit Subaru turbo as long as the car's running standard two bolt headers.
So SC36,38,40,42, etc etc as well as 16g, 18g and 20g and the IHI VF series. HTH

Althiugh technically true, there are tailored pipes to suit differing applications.

Cracking bit of kit for a very sensible price

Surprised it's still here, good luck with the sale

Yes there are, but this is the one that 90% of members on here will need (i.e. standard Subaru fitment, and OEM headers).
These ones had a few variants, one with an EGT sensor bung, one without. This looks to be the latter, which is fine unless the buyer wants to retain the EGT rather than mapping it out or using the resistor fix (WRX).

I bought my third one of these recently, having had a two bolt one (like this) on my old WRX, and then latterly on my current blob.

Then bought a 3 bolt to go with my GT Spec headers.

As I did a back to back comparison comparing a Hayward & Scott up pipe to the Harvey 2 bolt item on my old car, I can say that the car gained around 8bhp and 10ft/lbs on the Harvey pipe, and spooled around 300-400RPM earlier in the rev range.

For the money they're a fantastic mod and a terrific improvement over standard up pipes.

With regard to harvey`s uppipes, the 3 bolt HS uppipe fitted to my car was bought and fitted/mated with harveys ported HS-TD05-18G turbo which incidentally made 385bhp at 1.5bar on v-power mapped by JGM.;)

The same uppipe is still fitted and being used on my car today with an SC42 Billet, and im yet to see a standard,or forged for that matter 2.0ltr engined car that produces more power/torque at 4500rpm than mine does mapped on v-power and 20% meth, with standard sti v5/6 heads, the HS uppipe has definately helped to achieve this.

As Giles has already said above, they are a fantastic mod too have that are proven to work, and obviousley not only with the turbo they are mated too.;)

Thanks for the comments and info guys - that's it now sold.
