Carpet mat retainers

Hi,

I've a WRX hatch and the front drivers side mat is starting to get on my tits!

It is forever sliding forward whenever I get in and out the car. There are two holes in the mat for fixings/retainers to hold it in place but they're missing.

Any ideas on where I could get my hands on these?

Cheers for any help.

I had the same problem on my old WRX. I ended up using the JML non sticky, sticky mat slip stuff. You can get it in a roll from Wilkinsons. It worked a treat.

That looks quite good, you'd put the bottom piece under the car's carpet and the top piece through the mat onto it.

Bookmarked, thanks.

By the way, if your mat slips up far enough to get on your tits, doesn't it jam under the clutch pedal first?
LOL :D

Not sure if this would fit?

Excellent! Thanks very much for the replies, I'll be getting those bought!

The mat has caught under the pedals a few times but rarely. I just put it back in place every few times I get out the car. Been like that for the 2 years I've had it and meant to find a fix but just never got round to it.... until now.

Hi Kev,

Deal, thanks! You want me to swing past some time next week, or square you up for postage?

Cheers
Gordon
