Another big thanks to Duncan at RaceDynamix new record

Big thanks to Duncan and Surrey rolling road:thumb:

2nd car Duncan has mapped for me. Amazing results and a new record for Duncan and SRR:D

04 WRX with a full decat and a K&N air filter with the standard TD04

298.5 BHP and 309 ft/lbs torque:luxhello:

wiley 06 January 2013 12:14 PM

That's a fantastic result for the td04

Wiley

wrx271 06 January 2013 12:51 PM

When did you have it done bet its a different car

chocolate_o_brian 06 January 2013 01:04 PM

Nice one fella, Duncan is gaining legendary status recently :D

Bob Rawle safely managed 284/317 on my TD04 (a classic though), so proves it can be done without ringing every last horsepower out:)

Nice one

andy00v7 06 January 2013 04:56 PM

Nice results . How much power is it producing at 3500 rpm and 4000 rpm on a TD 04 ?

Andy

M2RTXhawkeye 06 January 2013 05:26 PM

That is very good mate. Andrew Carr had a hybrid TD04 built and tried it on my car which made 304.5 on the rollers.

Good result that mate

I saw this on Facebook great result from a legend that is race dynamix !

6VOLT 06 January 2013 06:40 PM

Was this with a 3port boost solenoid? I my 01 wrx with green cottage filter and straight through system along with Andy forest remap made 246 hp when Duncan had it on the dyno, and hopefully I'll have a spare few quid and Duncan can map it for the 3 port

dynamix 06 January 2013 06:49 PM

Not with a 3 port - just a std 2 port.

Cheers guys - pleasure to have a good result like this for PJ.

Chris's bug wrx did pretty well too at 272.9 with the downpipe cat still in place :thumb:

PJ-STI 06 January 2013 07:12 PM

We are both over the moon:D

It is like night and day.

If anyone is thinking about a remap do it:norty: and get Duncan to map it of course:notworthy

dynamix 06 January 2013 07:15 PM

I didnt get a copy of Chris's graphs - is he on here?

He does come on here sometimes but I can get a photo of it for you in a few days. Looking at his graph today it peaked at 6000rpm 272bhp and 275 ft/lbs torque.

STEVEBOXER 06 January 2013 07:27 PM

How much would it cost to have my uk2000 mapped with std tdo4?

dynamix 06 January 2013 08:28 PM

YHPM Steve

bustaMOVEs 06 January 2013 08:49 PM

Sorry to spit on your toe, but this is NOT a record, ive had 301 on td04

dynamix 06 January 2013 08:54 PM

proper dyno graph or a road dreamo ?

I know martyn at engine tuner had over 300 on a wrx with a fmic, good headers etc fitted (before he digs out that graph) but for the minimal mods that were done on Pauls car, this is a new record for me - I wouldnt normally suggest that it is worth doing extra mods without changing the turbo for a better unit. This is a record at Surrey Rolling Road and also for me.

I guess Well Lane would have shown about 350bhp lol

PJ-STI 06 January 2013 08:56 PM

It's a new record for Duncan and Surrey rolling road. I am sure other mappers might of got better on other rolling roads as they differ.

ScoobyDoo69 06 January 2013 09:00 PM

I believe it's a record for one of Duncan's mapped cars, and also for Surrey Rolling Road...

EDIT - remind me to refresh the page before commenting lol :)

toneh 06 January 2013 09:05 PM

Pmsl , it's the rr gag , well put it this way , if we can't trust the accuracy of certain rr why have we got threads like this
Because going on the oh you're rr is generous theory makes this thread worthless

ol

Before you get on your high horse as usuall, i remember YOU asking for proof and when i produced the figure, and when i did, you blamed the rr lol, and yes martynj had 309 too so op its not the record im afraid.

P.s duncan did NOT map my car

bustaMOVEs 06 January 2013 09:09 PM

And i bet if the figure wasnt achived the blame would be to rr as usual

PJ-STI 06 January 2013 09:16 PM

**It's a new record for Duncan and Surrey rolling road**

I did not say it was a new all time record

So until I produce it, then is that gonna take your comment back then or are you just gonna blame rr as per usual,

Op if the figure wasn't achived, then I garantee they would say 'must of been rr or car temps and, as long as it pulls well on road then that's fine' :lol1:

P.s dunc, what software do you use for o/s?

toneh 06 January 2013 10:04 PM

Now I'm no mapper ( as we all know ) even putting bhp aside IMO busta,s holds nice towards redline
