Just to make sure, is the ECU from a P1?

If so it will not work for JDM version 5/6.

Hi m8 yes and yes it will work it will just plug straight in u will just need to have it mapped to your mods but will only cost £250 as licence fee has already been payed cheers

No, it won't work. I've been there and done it after buying a licensed ECU from a P1 for my JDM version 6 and ended up having to pay for a license on my existing ECU.

I would have been interested had it not been for P1 as I'm downgrading from simtek before I sell the car on.

I hope you realise I'm not trying to rubbish your thread here, just sharing my experience where a P1 ECU did not work in a JDM version 6.

hi m8 sorry just rang mattyb from poleposition who i bought the ecu from and had andy carr map it the same day on my car it is a JDM not a P1 sorry for mix up so yes it will work and licence fee has been payed to andy carr cheers m8
