olliecampbell 03 January 2013 09:14 PM

On record, so we'll see!

bustaMOVEs 03 January 2013 09:28 PM

Big sh1t brother has interrupted tv(wife) so on record so watch later

kad 16v 03 January 2013 09:36 PM

I shall watch it later.

I saw the trailer and the point where one of the cars goes around the corner and could have over cooked it and squashed the ped rider into the bus kind of lead me to believe I will think they are a bunch of idiots who have no respect for anyone else on the road.

Fair play if you have the money flaunt it but don't act a idiot on our roads, spend a few extra pennies and go to the track and see if your talent lasts as long there.

P1Fanatic 03 January 2013 10:19 PM

Lol that older couple who dodged the umbrella look like they would moan about anything and everything.

Why do these gulfies bring their cars over here to drive around London at 40mph when they seem to have no speed limits back home?

JonMc 03 January 2013 10:19 PM

To get laid :wonder:

mart360 03 January 2013 10:30 PM

Interesting,

I was in Barclay square last year on a sunday, and i have to say,

supa 03 January 2013 11:12 PM

Nice cars. However like all god things it will get shut down. Sooner or later it will end up in a crash or death. But the money they bring talks

madscoob 03 January 2013 11:30 PM

Agree. I think the woman in the basement studio flat should be more worries about her moustache! :lol1:

That and the fact she doesn't know how long the month of Ramadan lasts.... go on love, take a wild guess :lol1:

The Trooper 1815 03 January 2013 11:39 PM

Followed by a push bike when having his "You Tube" moment sum's it up. What a waste of petrol, probably tiny weeners!

gazney101 03 January 2013 11:48 PM

the posh toffs dont stand a chance and rightly so. These fellas are bringing cash with them and spending it here and putting on a good show. I might go down in the scoob and join them n wipe the tash off that crust buckets face and same for the rest of the bum busters

Ant 03 January 2013 11:56 PM

When he got caught by the umbrella was hilarious, it made me consider the lotto tomorrow anyways :D

bioforger 04 January 2013 01:51 AM

Have to agree stupid feckin toffs. If you can afford to live opposite feckin Harrods and a bit of engine noise bothers you, then move somewhere else. It's not like they can't afford to

And what was that bint's name? Panda? God I hate filthy rich toffs

Oldun 04 January 2013 07:52 AM

They all stopped being so vocal at the end and seemed resigned to the fact that they will keep coming back.

I wonder if they had wedges of dosh handed to them in brown envelopes? :lol1:

Ant 04 January 2013 08:38 AM

Also a good point was the camera man asking, "have any of you actually spoken to the drivers"

P1Fanatic 04 January 2013 08:48 AM

I was waiting for one of the moaners to be that YouTube muppet who kicked off at that guy rev’ing his Lambo as someone asked him to whilst he videod it.

I guess they avoid getting tagged by forward facing speed cameras as most had no front plate. Assume as the cars are brought in from other countries for only short periods that it’s legit.

I can imagine it is annoying at 5.30am but was there any footage of that? I only watched the first half of the programme and was all in daylight.

That made me laugh and typical complain about everything person. Never mind the fact that those two and a camera crew are blocking the pavement. Guy should have turned around and lamped him.

They go to Bahrain for that. The hotels there (at least when I was there) were full of Saudis off their faces! The causeway back to the mainland on the Saturday was packed with them all back in traditional garb of course.

Ant 04 January 2013 01:10 PM

Yes that's the bit I was referring to, and when she said "this is coming from my heart" tears were rolling down her cheeks. I had to laugh haha.... Channel 4 did a nice screen pan-movement with Panda looking out over the city with the tragic music :lol1:

Good programme.

Had the opposite effect that the Knightsbridge residents wanted imho. Mad them out to be a bunch of racists basically.

Granted, and its the same with any minority group (ie in this case a group with vast disposable income) - there's always a few that ruin it for everybody else.

The poor driving was a justifiable complaint.

But in the grand scheme of things, I thought the Arabs came over quite well.

As for when the residents were asked if they'd actually spoken to the owners...... kinda summed it up for me tbh.

The last thing recession hit London wants is to turn away tourists with money to spend. On balance, I suppose it may get a bit wearing listening to V12s being opened up (maybe not for petrolheads like us). The point raised above about talking to the car owners is a good one. Why didn't the residents just have a word with the lads? The 'millionaire boy racers' all came across as well spoken, well educated and polite. I'm sure the last they thing they'd want to do is upset the locals and alienate themselves.
