help with Tm button

Today after waiting for some one I pressed the small Tm button on my steering column it seemed to check my route for traffic but I didn't put in a destination and later it keep saying I was taking a wrong route, and when I tried pressing it again it start phoning helpline and connected, but it had no phone connected to the hands free I have no idea what it is or how to set a route or switch it off? And the garage I got it from didn't know about it? Does anyone know what it is or how to work it.
Thanks

That's a Trafficmaster button. I have one one my Spec D steering column.

Do you have two small microphones either side of the "P" parking light button at the top of the steering column?

Mine also has a blue Trafficmaster sat nav screen / tracker attached to the driver side centre air vent.
I've never really used mine though as it seems very very dated in sat nav terms. Did you not hear anyone answer the phone and their voice come out the 4 car speakers?

I think It did have a screen at some point, yeah someone did answer but I cut them of by mistake, also wondering if Its got a tracker and I want to know who with, want to get one fitted but if it already got one fitted it a plus

Sounds like you have the same system as me, but I don't use the sat nav.

Try www.trafficmaster.co.uk

The chances are it does have a tracker called Trafficmaster Trackstar - it's all part of the same package.

Best contact them, give them your reg number and go from there.
Is your car a Spec D?

Yes, that hole would have been for the wiring where the screen once was. I was going to get my screen removed, but didn't want the cost of a new vent etc.

Here's how they look, not the best I have to say!
